I did it!

Yes! I did my day 4 workout! Was it hard? Yes! Working out while dealing with fibromyalgia pain isn’t a walk in the park but the old me would have made an excuse not to at least try! I am not about the old me so I tried and I succeeded! Luckily today I did not have to make any modifications to the workout like I did yesterday. Do you have fibromyalgia or chronic pain? If so message me and maybe I can help you out!

Yep this is my view right now. My two girls right next to me. The other one is under the covers and the big one wants nothing to do with this and is in the other room. Why am I laying here? Because I am having a major fibromyalgia flare. I am in a lot of pain today. 😢😥I am guessing it’s because rain is on its way to the Bay Area and I always get a fibro flare before and during the rain. Guess moving to Seattle is off our list then! ☔️💧I am not perfect and sometimes life gets in the way of working out when I want to work out, go shopping or hell just take my dogs for a walk. I need to rest up, take some anti-inflammatories/meds, and drink lots of water. Don’t you worry though I will get this work out in today! 🏃‍♀️💪🏻☔️❤️

Patients Like Me

Tomorrow I have my first blood draw through Patients Like Me. Patients Like Me helps patients with fibromyalgia with free blood tests so you can get a better idea of what is going on with your body. Once they have submitted your blood tests and gather the necessary information you should be more informed with what is going on and what is “wrong” with you.

I also have to schedule another blood draw for my doctor to see if I have Hashimoto’s. Hashimoto’s is an autoimmune disorder that attacks your thyroid. I have had hypothyroidism for about 2 years now and have been experiencing some different symptoms that would line up with Hashimoto’s. 95% of people with hypothyroidism have Hashimoto’s so it definitely makes sense for me to get the tests. I am a little nervous about the test but also anxious to take it and get the results!

Does anyone here have Hashimoto’s?
